It’s Showtime has been serving us with good vibes and laughter for 15 years already, and so has the friendship of Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario. While we don’t see much of their bonding moments off-cam, their bardagulan moments in front of the camera could tell how tightly bonded they actually are in real life.

And in this It’s Showtime Toplist feature, let us revisit nine of their hilarious bardagulan moments that do not only exhibit their chops as comedians, but their awesome friendship as well.

We’ve certainly witnessed a lot of it in various segments of the noontime program, but over the past months, we got to see more of those in the trending “EXpecially For You” while they were interviewing the searchers and searchees.

Commencing this list was when Vice jokingly pushed Jhong to the floor as he and Vhong made fun of her wig after a searcher named Kian said that he’s into blondies. They went on to pit her against searchee Amber, who was then wearing blonde hair too, which apparently piqued Vice.

Instead of taking it seriously, Vice was cool when Jhong accidentally spewed on her while they were bantering on literally painful words they could think of, making it difficult for Jhong to contain his laughter upon hearing her first entry. That was after the searchers for that day recounted that their relationship had gone toxic as they started hurling snide remarks at one another.

As the Unakabogable Star noticed how beautiful the eyes and eyebrows of searchee Vance were, she went on to praise the eyes of Jhong, which, according to her, were beautiful although they tend to always look tired despite being well-rested. She further compared it with the bulging eyes of the saltwater giant trevally, or talakitok, which amused everyone. Since they’ve been friends and he has been used to that kind of comment regarding his eyes, Jhong didn’t get offended by what Vice had uttered. He got ‘insulted’ by the giggling reactions from the madlang people, to whom he jokingly said, “Ay tawang-tawa talaga. Ang gaganda ng mata n’yo ah?”

The same happened when the Vice noticed that searcher Juliane was wearing braces, which reminded her that Jhong actually used to have one. As he explained that he had to do it to correct his teeth, she asked in jest why he didn’t put braces on his eyes since they’re quite apart as well. She also went on to tell him that he’s handsome and implied how much he had spent to be able to achieve it.

After Jhong suggested to searchee Jyra that she should have uttered the pick-up line, “Sinturon ka ba?” to searcher Lester, Vice came up with a witty response to it, which was “kasi Hudas ka e,” much to the mirth of everyone.

Since they have been working together for more than a decade and have been each other’s best friends, it was definitely normal for them to be concerned about one another, even with their appearances. Just like in an episode of “EXpecially For You”, when Jhong notified Vice that her wig didn’t look aligned, yet Vice went on to poke fun at his neckerchief.

There was also an instance when they talked about their preferred hug, with Vice saying that she wanted it to be from the side. Thus, she prodded Jhong to carry her that way, and he walked towards the camera, with her acting as if they were a pair of street children begging for money from commuters.

However, despite their bardagulans, Vice and Jhong also know how to be sweet. In one episode of “EXpecially For You,” she related how an amazing person he actually is, to the point that they both turned almost emotional. Besides, there was also an instance when she conveyed how a dependable friend he is, especially during the times that she needed consolation. But being the comedians that they truly are, they would always go back to ridiculing one another.

They may always make fun of each other on-cam, but we know that the friendship and love that Vice and Jhong share are deep and genuine.
