Television host Robi Domingo addressed the speculations connecting his fellow Kapamilya stars, Kathryn Bernardo and Donny Pangilinan. Robi, who recently married his non-showbiz partner Maiqui Pineda on January 6, 2024 in a star-studded event, clarified the situation.

During the wedding reception held at an elegant venue, celebrities, including Kathryn and Donny, celebrated with the newlyweds. A video surfaced on X, formerly known as Twitter, where Kathryn was seen dancing with Rose Fausto, one of Robi and Maiqui’s godmothers. In the video, Donny approached Kathryn while she was dancing, engaging in a conversation and lightly touching her arm.

 

 

The video, shared by X user @Decimal_iii, was captioned with a playful remark about Donny’s behavior when interested in a woman, accompanied by the hashtag “DonBelle,” the loveteam name for Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.

Robi Domingo reposted the video on his page, emphasizing that there was no romantic involvement between Donny and Kathryn. He clarified that Donny, serving as one of his groomsmen, was merely assisting in taking care of the guests.

“Just for the record: we’re all friends here. We’ve got each other’s backs. No issues, please. [finger heart emoji]Also, being the groomsmen, @donny and @Espanto2001 helped us out in taking care of all of the guests,” he wrote.

In response, netizens expressed gratitude to Robi for addressing the matter, even though it wasn’t necessary. Some DonBelle fans pointed out that the uploader of the video had pretended to be a fan but had previously posted negative comments about Donny.
