Jennylyn Mercado said that Dennis Trillo is her first love
Kapuso actressΒ Jennylyn MercadoΒ revealed that she and her husband actorΒ Dennis TrilloΒ never had a third party issue in their relationship.
Jennylyn and Dennis first got together in 2010. However, after a year, they broke up. In 2014, they were able to rekindle their love. They tied the knot in 2021 and they are blessed with a daughter.
Both Jennylyn and Dennis have sons from their previous relationships. In a recent interview with Karen Davila, based on the article in Inquirer, the couple talked about their relationship.

Jennylyn Mercado said that her husband is her first love. βSi Dennis kasi βyung first love ko. Syempre βyun βyung nilo-look forward ko, βyun βyung gusto ko, βyun βyung dream ko na makasama siya. Pero may mga times na magda-doubt ka kasi ang dami niyong pinagdadaanan,β she said.
The actress also said that one of the reasons why their relationship is strong and intact is that there is no issue of a third party between them.
βSa tagal naming magkasama, never kaming nagkaproblema sa mga third party, βyung mga ganiyan. Never kami nagkaroon ng issue sa mga ganiyan,β she said.
Jennylyn added that Dennis is a kind man and that he is also generous, loving, and truthful. If the actress said that her husband is her first love, Dennis said that Jennylyn is his true love.
The actor also said that he became a better person because of his wife. He said that what he feels for Jennylyn is the most intense love and he never imagined that he could love someone like that.
Dennis Trillo also said that because of Jennylyn Mercado, he is kinder now and his life started to have a direction. He said that before, he was an easy-go-lucky person and he did not have plans but it changed when they became a couple and got married.
