Prima Donnas actress Aiko Melendez reacted to the allegation that she had a past relationship with the late actor Rudy Fernandez.

This allegation against Aiko came after the blind item of entertainment columnist/talent manager Lolit Solis in the October 20 episode of her digital talk show Take It Per Minute Me Ganun with Cristy Fermin and Mr. Fu.

In the said blind item, Manay Lolit said that the late actor had a “jowa” at the time when he was married to veteran actress Lorna Tolentino, based on the article from GMA Entertainment. According to the showbiz writer, at the wake, the said “jowa” of the late actor even made the wife wait.

“Maldita ‘yung jowa, day. Ang ginawa, alam niyang darating ha (wife), 4 o’clock ng hapon, pinaalis niya ‘yung bangkay, pinabihisan,” Manay Lolit said.

The talent manager also shared that she told the “jowa”, “‘Ano ba yan, bat ngayon mo pinabihisan? ‘Di ba alam mo darating? Bakit ngayon mo pinabihisan.” Maany Lolit said that the answer she got was, “Bakit? Noon ako naghihintay, mag-intay siya ngayon.”

Because of this, a netizen asked Aiko Melendez if she was the woman who was in the blind item of Lolit Solis. Through her recent vlog, the actress denied the allegation.

Aiko said that she is not the woman in the blind item and that she only worked with the late actor once and that was 20 years ago. That means, she was just 18 years old back then.

“So impossible po na maging kami ni Daboy dahil si Ms Lorna Tolentino po ay close po sa amin, nakakausap ko, at hindi ko po naging value na mang-agaw po ng may taong married na o may asawa,” Aiko Melendez stressed.
