The Man Utd has given his thoughts in his wife’s trip to the jungle.

Wayne Rooney has reacted to his wife Coleen’s announcement that she will appear on the 2024 series of I’m A Celebrity Get me Out of Here, after she revealed the strict rules he must follow while she’s away.

On Sunday, the beloved ITV series I’m a Celeb will return to our TV screens as a new set of sports stars, actors and influencers enter the jungle.

Included in the lineup for this year’s series, is Coleen Rooney, wife of the legendary Manchester United and England star Wayne, following her infamous legal battle with Rebekah Vardy.

And now, Wayne has reacted to his wife’s upcoming appearance on the show, as Coleen announced the rules that she has told him to follow while she is away.

After ITV officially announced the lineup for the 2024 series on Monday, Coleen took to social media to post a video of her reaction to the news, and the strict plan she has left for Wayne and other friends or family about looking after their children.

Speaking directly to the camera in a post on X, Coleen said: “I am really anxious about leaving the kids, that’s my biggest thing, for weeks and months that’s been on my mind.

“But I’ve come to terms with it and I’ve planned and prepped, I’ve got an army of people – family and friends – school friends all helping out with the kids. They are going to be fine, they’ll probably have a great time.

“I’ve prepped as you can see, behind me, that is literally front and back four weeks of timetables, football runs, parties and everything.”

Wayne and Coleen have four children together, Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five.

The 38-year-old also revealed the secret gift that she for each of her kids while she is away in Australia, she added: “Before I wrote them all a little card each when they get home from school tomorrow and a little teddy each so they know I am constantly thinking of them.”

But the Plymouth Argyle manager, is clearly not concerned about his wife’s absence, as he took to his Instagram Story to react to ITV’s announcement of Coleen joining the cast with a simple caption of the applause, heart and kissing emojis.
