Ibinuking ng direktor ng pelikulang Hello, Love, Again na si Cathy Garcia-Sampana kung gaano ka-close ang lead stars nitong sina Alden Richards at Kathryn Bernardo.
Sa press conference ng Hello, Love, Again noong October 17, aminado si Direk Cathy na nahirapan siya dahil mas malapit na ngayon sina Alden at Kathryn kumpara noong ginagawa nila ang Hello, Love, Goodbye.
“Medyo humirap kasi sinabihan mo ‘wag mag-usap, pagtingin ko nagkakainan ‘yung dalawa doon sa kuwarto, kainis,” kuwento ni Direk Cathy.
“Ay, ang pangit ba nung nagkakainan? Sorry, sorry. Erase, hoy, ako kasi ang linis ng isip ko. Kayo, ang ano niyo!” depensa ng direktor.
Paliwanag pa niya, “Kasi ang bigat nung eksena, talagang ang instruction ko, walang kakausap kay Alden tapos si Kath naman, in fairness, hindi naman niya kinakausap.”
“Except nung break, pagdaan ko, nasa sahig kumakain sila ng adobo ata or something, lechon kawali. Tapos iniisip ko, magagalit ba ako? Sige regalo ko na lang doon sa dalawa na may makausap kasi pitong oras na nga silang puro talagang sobrang makapagbagbag damdamin.”
Seryosong sagot ni Direk Cathy, nakita niya na may tiwala na sa isa’t isa sina Alden at Kathryn.
“Dito sa part two, the trust was there. It was very evident, it was so clear. Beyond the friendship that I saw, kasi given na siya, e, may tiwala sila sa isa’t isa, and I admire both of them that they support each other so much na kahit nakatalikod, inuubos ‘yung luha,” saad ni Direk Cathy.
