Ion Perez Had Anxiety Due To Icing Incident On ‘It’s Showtime’

Ion Perez went through an emotional challenge

It’s Showtime Ion Perez had anxiety because of the icing incident he had with his partner Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda on the Kapamilya noontime show.

Ion and Vice were put under the spotlight because of their cake moment in one of the noontime show’s episodes. Reportedly, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) received complaints for their supposed “inappropriate” behavior on national TV.

Because of that, MTRCB summoned the producer of It’s Showtime. On September 4, the agency finally released a decision and the noontime show is being suspended for 12 airing days.

In an article published by PEP following the suspension, it was stated that Ion Perez was affected by that incident and the wave that occurred after. Based on the source, Vice and Ion had anxiety because of what happened.

It was said that this is the reason why the couple had a short vacation. The Unkabogable Star shared that they had a 2-day “labing-labing” and this happened amid the issue with MTRCB.

Following that vacation post, it was alleged that the couple was suspended because of the icing incident. However, a few days later, they were back on the show.

With the decision from MTRCB, Vice and Ion were not the only ones who suffered because of that incident. The whole show, including other hosts and the people behind the camera, had to wait 12 days before they could go back on the air.

Meanwhile, fans of the Kapamilya noontime show showed support for the It’s Showtime family on social media. A lot of netizens called out MTRCB chairwoman Lala Sotto for her agency’s decision. However, she defended the decision of MTRCB to suspend the Kapamilya noontime show.
