Joshua Garcia Maintains Friendship w/ Both Daniel, Kathryn

Joshua Garcia spoke on his friendship with fellow stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo following the breakup of the former couple.

Many celebrities enjoy deep friendships even behind the camera. Among these are Joshua, Daniel, and Kathryn who are close to each other and have created wonderful memories most especially when they travel abroad.

Joshua, Daniel, and Kathryn’s circle of friends also include celebrity couple Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde who got married last March 23. However, in the case of KathNiel, the unexpected happened last November.

Last November 30, 2023, Kathryn Bernardo announced her breakup with Daniel Padilla. The two (2) celebrities were in a relationship for 10 years and they also compose one of the most phenomenal loveteam in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Countless hearts were left broken with the breakup of Daniel and Kathryn. The two (2) celebrities has many fans and supporters across the nation and abroad. While they have shared the stage after their breakup, since they parted ways, the two (2) celebrities were no longer seen hanging out together with their friends like they used to.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Joshua Garcia affirmed that he remains friends with both Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo when asked about his take on his own circle of friends. According to the actor, he treats his friends equally and they respect each other.

“Kasi pantay-pantay ako sa barkada ko eh, walang lamangan. Buti na lang may respeto lahat,” the actor said.

During the interview, Joshua Garcia also expressed that Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are not the kind of friends who easily get grouchy. He stressed that they are old enough and both of them are matured enough.

According to the actor, he also does not want to have bitter patches with anyone. He stressed that it would be hard not to befriend with someone and to avoid the person as the industry is small.

The actor is currently promoting his upcoming movie entitled Fruitcake. It will be released in cinemas on June 12.
