Sandy Andolong Reveals Side on John Lloyd Cruz Taking an “Indefinite Leave” from Showbiz
SANDY ANDOLONG – Home Sweetie Home actress Sandy Andolong broke her silence on the decision of Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz to take an indefinite leave from showbiz.
The ABS-CBN situational comedy show Home Sweetie Home continues to air despite the absence of actor John Lloyd Cruz, one of its main casts alongside with actress-television host Toni Gonzaga. The two celebrities play the roles of a married couple in the show.
Among the other actors and actress that John Lloyd and Toni are working with in the show are Sandy Andolong, Rico J. Puno, Miles Ocampo, and Clarence Delgado.
Rico J. Puno plays the role of the father of Romeo (John Lloyd Cruz) while Sandy Andolong plays the role of the mother of Julie (Toni Gonzaga). Miles and Clarence play the roles of the younger siblings of Toni’s character.

Last year, John Lloyd Cruz decided to take an indefinite leave from showbiz. Piolo Pascual joined the show and Home Sweetie Home continues to air up to now.
Based on a report, Lloydie has yet to return to his work. The recent event where was spotted was at the birthday of his girlfriend Ellen Adarna. It sparked headlines as the actress wore an over-sized top which allegedly hid her baby bump.

John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna, are rumored to become parents soon. The celebrity couple has yet to deny or confirm the allegations.
Recently, based on a report in Pep, Sandy Andolong, the co-star of the two celebrities in Home Sweetie Home, broke her silence on the decision of the actor to take a break from showbiz.

In an interview with Pep, the veteran actress expressed that John Lloyd’s decision did not come as a surprise to her as they often talk and he opens up to her.
Based on the report, with regards to the issue that John Lloyd Cruz is allegedly going to be a father soon to his baby with Ellen Adarna, Sandy Andolong expressed happiness for the actor.
“Oo naman. As a friend, as a ‘mother,’ I think it’s good for him na magkaroon siya ng responsibility, good relationship now. And maraming changes na mangyayari [sa buhay niya], good changes,” the veteran actress reportedly said.
When asked if John Lloyd Cruz will be back in the show, Sandy Andolong expressed having no ideas about it. Meanwhile, she expressed that they miss him. She even described the actor as a nice person and someone who is easy to get along with.
