apl.de.ap surprises KC Concepcion with video message from Shakira
Shakira to KC: “Little birdie told me that you like my music. Thank you.”
Filipino-American singer of The Black Eyed Peas apl.de.ap surprised her actress friend KC Concepcion with a big surprise.

A special video message from the famous Colombian singer Shakira.

KC, 35, is the actress-TV host-vlogger daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and actor Gabby Concepcion.

apl.de.ap, 45—Allan Pineda Lindo in real life—is the Pampanga-born rapper-record producer who is a member of the Grammy-winning hip hop group Black Eyed Peas.

Shakira, 43, is the so-called Queen of Latin Music, who made the songs “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Whenever, Wherever,” “Underneath Your Clothes,” and “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).”

This 2020, Shakira collaborated with the Black Eyed Peas for the song “Girl Like Me.”

“Girl Like Me” is included in the Black Eyed Peas’ new album Translation.

Shakira and the Black Eyed Peas were apparently working on “Girl Like Me” when apl.de.ap asked the Colombian singer for a video message for KC.

On Saturday, September 19, KC proudly posted a video message from her idolized Latina superstar on Instagram.

Notably, Shakira did not mention apl.de.ap’s name in the video, but she referred to him as “little birdie.”

Shakira said that a “little birdie” told her that KC liked the Colombian singer’s music, so the latter thanked her.

Shakira also congratulated KC on the actress’s new YouTube cooking series Kitchen Collabs, where KC swaps recipes with other celebrities while they cook together online.

Shakira’s message to KC: “Hey, KC! A little birdie told me that you like my music. Thank you so much.

“I wanted to say hi and congratulations on your new show, your new cooking show.

KC also fangirled when she said she was impressed by Shakira’s 2020 Super Bowl halftime performance on February 3, 2020.

Shakira’s aforementioned halftime show performance with fellow Latina superstar Jennifer Lopez was trending.

KC added that she was excited to hear Shakira and the Black Eyed Peas’ collab “Girl Like Me.”
