Kim Chiu nervous for upcoming face-off with Julia Barretto
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu was nervous to face-off with Julia Barretto.
During the recent Nature’s Way Aloe Vera shampoo launch where she was introduced as new endorser, Kim shared how she is preparing for the “court” battle.
Kim will have a volleyball match against Julia in the upcoming Kapamilya All-Star Game on August 25 in Araneta Coliseum. She said she was nervous on the upcoming game against Julia because Julia was a varsity player back then.
“Una, stressed kasi hindi naman talaga ko super mega player at sa Araneta pa gagawin. Katapat namin Team Julia, so nervous kasi si Julia varsity na siya before, ako, dun lang sa mababang paaralan sa Cebu City. Sana maging okay ‘yung game,” she said.
When asked what team she will support in the basketball game between Team Vice Ganda and Team Gerald Anderson, Kim said: “Siyempre team Kim lang ako. Dun lang ako sa volleyball!”
Kim is now busy with her upcoming soap opera “Love Thy Woman” with rumored boyfriend Xian Lim.
