Barbie Hsu’s two husbands met to discuss the division of property

According to Chinese media, singer Koo Jun Yup and businessman Uong Tieu Phi have just had a face-to-face meeting to discuss the issue of dividing actress Barbie Hsu’s estimated fortune of 30 million USD.

Koo Jun Yup is the current husband of Barbie Hsu, he and the late actress have been married since 2022. Businessman Uong Tieu Phi is Barbie Hsu’s ex-husband, they have been married for 10 years and completed divorce proceedings at the end of 2021. Uong Tieu Phi is currently taking care of 2 children.

According to Ettoday, on March 6, Koo Jun Yup and Uong Tieu Phi had a direct meeting to discuss the issue of inheritance, responsibility to pay bank interest, ownership of an apartment worth NT$470 million  in Taiwan (China) left by Barbie Hsu.

In particular, the main issue of the meeting was to discuss the person who pays the bank mortgage every month, worth more than NT$1 million.

Before Barbie Hsu died, Koo Jun Yup was living with the actress and her 2 stepchildren in the apartment above. According to some experts, in case no one pays the mortgage, the bank can confiscate the apartment and conduct an auction.

According to Sohu, Barbie Hsu is the one who bought the house, she moved to this apartment to live with Koo Jun Yup and her children from 2023. The actress paid part of the money, the rest in bank installments.

Every month, Uong Tieu Phi deposits money into Barbie Hsu’s account for her to pay the bank. However, after the couple divorced, Barbie Hsu stood up to pay all the money.

It is known that the house worth NT$470 million has been mortgaged 3 times by the actress surnamed Xu to serve her business. Currently, the specific loan amount has not been disclosed.

At the end of February, sharing with the media, the mother of the actress surnamed Tu revealed that the division of assets had been completed. However, some close sources said that this is still happening quietly and the star’s family surnamed Tu does not want to attract the media.

In the initial announcement, the Meteor Garden star’s fortune was divided in half, whereby Koo Jun Yup enjoyed half and the other half was given to the actress’s 2 children. Because Uong Tieu Phi won custody of the children, the assets of the 2 children will be temporarily managed by him.

Barbie Hsu is said to own a fortune of about 30 million USD, of which the most valuable are real estate in her name in Taiwan.

In addition to the apartment worth NT$470 million, she also owns a house at the National Museum of Art worth NT$210 million , where her mother lives, another house worth NT$270 million rented by the actress.

All the real estate is related to the loans and cash Barbie Hsu and her ex-husband – Uong Tieu Phi – spent during their marriage.
