Here, Kris said that her family has been reunited, after a year of not interacting with her older brother, former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, after Kris ran against their former Liberal Party (LP) ally, Caloocan Second District Congressman Edgar Erice.

This stemmed from the lawmaker’s claim that former Senator Mar Roxas may have lost to former Mayor Rodrigo Duterte in the 2016 presidential elections because of the senator’s ties to the Liberal Party, Noynoy’s party.

Erice is currently Mar’s campaign manager and spokesperson, who is running for senator again in the 2019 mid-term elections.

Also because of Kris’s denial of Congressman Erice’s words, the story was then brought up that Kris allegedly asked the lawmaker to help her find “hired killers” to “get rid” of the brothers Nicko and Jess Falcis, who are Kris’s enemies.

Kris vehemently denied this.
