Kim Chiu exuded easy elegance at the 2024 Seoul International Drama Awards that hailed her as an Outstanding Asian Star (Philippines).
The event was held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Yeouido KBS Hall in Seoul, South Korea.
Kim was a tantalizing sight, looking both sultry and dainty in a corseted bustier draped over her gossamer pink gown as designed ingeniously by Francis Libiran.
Kim’s ensemble was finished with beautiful jewelry from DiaGold and a pair of custom heels from Jojo Bragais.
Kim’s red carpet look was masterfully curated by Adrianne Conception.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Adrianne shared the inspiration for Kim’s purple carpet look, describing it as a harmonious blend of Filipino and Korean styles.
According to the celebrity stylist, the bold sleeve was a creative interpretation of a modern Filipiniana, while the chiffon layers pay tribute to the subtle femininity of soft Korean style, explained Conception.
Adrianne added, “Kim’s look is ethereal, and a showcase of Filipina modernity. Kim as a global Filipina on the Korean stage.”
For her glam, makeup artist Jake Galvez created a soft K-beauty makeup look, while South Korean hairstylist Lee Youngna neatly tied her hair in a bun, drawing attention to her flawless decolletage.
Ahead of her trip to Korea, Kim did a photoshoot that featured her gown. RJ dela Cruz styled her hair for this shoot.
