Kris Aquino is returning to PH, gives health update

Kris Aquino is coming home to the Philippines.

On Instagram, the television personality posted a photo showing the USA flag, an airplane emoji, and the Philippine flag. She geotagged the location to Los Angeles International Airport.

In the caption, Kris explained why she is returning to the country after staying in the United States for two years to get treatment.

“The reason I decided to go home is because I need to start my second immunosuppressant infusions in 2-3 weeks (it’s a gentler term for chemotherapy),” she said.

“Emotionally I need the encouragement and unwavering faith my sisters and cousins, closest friends, and trusted team of doctors can provide,” she said. “Sadly what was the battle to improve my mental health is now the struggle to protect my vital organs. This is now the fight of my life.”
