KC Concepcion showed love and appreciation for Sharon Cuneta

Actress KC Concepcion wrote a heartfelt Mother’s Day greeting for her mom Megastar Sharon Cuneta after the latter’s “estranged” statement.

Sharon and KC are among the most popular mother-and-daughter tandems in the entertainment industry in the Philippines. However, it is known to many showbiz fans that their relationship is complicated. They had issues and conflicts in the past that were reported in the showbiz world.

Just recently, veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin mentioned on her program the alleged reason why Sharon and KC had a conflict.

Allegedly, KC Concepcion pawned an important item that Sharon Cuneta owns without her knowing about it. Then, Cristy shared that the younger actress requested her not to talk about this issue anymore.

Following that, Sharon and her husband former Senator Kiko Pangilinan filed a cyber libel case against Cristy. In an interview, the Megastar mentioned the current relationship she had with her eldest daughter. She said that despite she and KC are “estranged” right now, it does not mean that her love for her daughter was gone.

Despite that that statement from Sharon, KC shared a heartfelt Mother’s Day greeting for her mom. Through her Instagram post, she shared a throwback photo with “the first person she ever met.”

“To my beautiful mama, it’s your day. I pray for us to enjoy life’s pleasures and adventures together soon. You’re the first person I ever met, and ever loved, it’s because of you that I’m here today. Trust in the way you raised me — I will always strive to make you proud and feel that having me was worth it. I love you,” KC wrote in the caption of her post.

She also said that if only she could her mom the world so that she will not worry anymore. KC ended her tribute to her mom with, “Happy Mother’s Day mama!” This received a lot of heart comments from netizens.
