Maris and Anthony became silent on social media amid the issue between them. To recall, their intimate conversations were leaked by Anthony’s ex-girlfriend Jam Villanueva. The conversations apparently happened when Anthony and Jam were still a couple.

In her statement, Maris Racal stressed that she had no idea that Anthony Jennings was still with Jam Villanueva but she admitted that her loveteam partner was the reason why she broke up with Rico Blanco which contradicted her previous statement about their breakup.

Anthony, on the other hand, said a simple apology, She said sorry to Maris, Jam, and everyone who was dragged into the issue.

Amid the issue, Maris and Anthony did not join the promotional activities for the MMFF 2024 movie And The Breadwinner Is even though they were part of the cast. However, just recently, Maris was spotted mingling with viewers of the movie led by Vice Ganda.

Maris and Anthony are also part of the upcoming series Incognito. On January 17, 2025, the series is set to premiere on Netflix. Will the MaThon loveteam be part of the promotions?

Based on the article in PEP, a source revealed that Maris and Anthony will not be part of the promotional activities for Incognito. “As of the moment, hindi. Hindi sila magpo-promote,” an insider shared.

However, the insider stressed that MaThon’s appearance in the series will not be diminished and their characters will not be prematurely terminated because of the issue.

Their project with Netflix will also push through. Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings shot a movie for the movie streaming platform.

“Ang dapat abangan, kung magpo-promote ang MaThon ng Netflix film nila, kung saan harutan sila nang harutan. Wagas ang kanilang baby kisses! Sarap!” the insider shared.
