The TV Patrol Express staff is blamed for putting former PBB Gen 11 housemate Jarren Garcia in an awkward situation.
This took root when Jarren was put on TV Patrol Express on January 28, 2025, where he reported on news about artists mourning the passing of the Queen of Philippine Cinema, Gloria Romero.
Jarren is a British-Filipino from London, England.
His thick British accent and lack of fluency in Tagalog are being criticized, mocked, and laughed at for the singer’s reporting on the late actress.

For some who watched TV Patrol Express on Tuesday, the ABS-CBN news program staff showed disrespect to Gloria.
Jarren’s delivery of information on the events at the funeral of the late actress was ridiculous and insulting.
They don’t blame Jarren because he just followed what he was told to do, even though he was uncomfortable and lacked the skills.
Some netizens feel sorry for Jarren, who is now being talked about because of an embarrassing situation that he didn’t want to be inβslurring and stuttering while speaking and having difficulty reading Tagalog words from a teleprompter.
