Kapamilya actress-singer Janella Salvador was criticized after not making a “sampol” in noontime show “It’s Showtime”.

“Medyo paos ako today, kayo na lang. Next time, promise.”

Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador and famous Thai actor Win Metawin previously appeared in ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime. Their appearance is for the promotion of their film entitled “Under Parallel Skies” which was also the first time they promoted the movie as a pair.

However, in the same event, some people online noticed that there was something off in how Janella responded to the banter of host Kim Chiu. They mentioned about her upcoming concert and the Showtime host requested Janella to perform a little snippet or “sample” of the song.

Feeling a bit under the weather, the actress-singer declined and said, “Medyo paos ako today, kayo na lang. Next time, promise.”

This response prompted the hosts to no longer push her to sing.

“Ah, pakinggan na lang namin [yung song],” Kim replied while Darren Espanto interjected, “Sa susunod, mag-prod ka na lang dito sa Showtime.”

Many people online found what Janella said to be rude. Many people criticized her for not being graceful enough in rejecting the request but her fans were there to defend her. Some people online believed that the issue about Janella saying no is such a petty issue. They believed that there’s also nothing wrong with her response.

Meanwhile, apart from her movie, the actress-singer is also gearing up for her 10th-anniversary concert which will be held on April 19 at the New Frontier Theater. She assured her fans that she will be performing new songs for next month’s events.

Salvador’s concert is called “Reimagined” which will mark her 10th year in the music industry. Apart from teasing about her new music, she also teased about having special guests and showing special performances.
