Los Angeles, USA – It’s a blessing for Kris Aquino that she’s still alive today and if she hadn’t decided to go to Tate for treatment, what might have happened to her?
“When I was told about my illness, I was at level 3 which is the last stage. I really thought, ‘Oh, I probably have less than 1 year,’” Kris quipped in an interview on Ogie Diaz’s vlog.
“So, the fact that this is now year 2, and it’s progressing, because the life expectancy is less than 5 years and I was diagnosed late. So really, when I was diagnosed, I only had 4 years to go.
“So, I’ve been there for 2 years. So, if you think about it, it’s only 2 years. But somehow, they stopped the progression,” Kris continued.
“So, I’m very grateful that I’m still alive,” she said.
That’s why Kris is so grateful to everyone who prays for her because she knows it’s a big deal. She also says she’s keeping her promise to her two children, Joshua and Bimby, that she will fight as long as she can.
