Vice Ganda expressed his love and appreciation for his fellow “It’s Showtime” host Kim Chiu, whom he reminded of her worth and the love she deserves.

During the noontime show’s “Expecially for You” segment on Tuesday, Dec. 12, Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro were having a banter when the comedian suddenly turned to Chiu and noticed her outfit.

“Ano bang oras ‘yung JS niyo? Ihahatid kita (What time will your JS Prom be held? I’ll take you to the venue),” Vice Ganda joked, which was followed by Anne Curtis with a compliment: “Ang ganda niya. Ang dami niyang ribbon.” (She’s pretty. She has a lot of ribbons [on her clothes].)

“Maganda talaga ‘to (She’s pretty indeed),” the “Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” star agreed, before proceeding to hug Chiu and tell her, “Maganda ka; mabuti kang tao; maganda ang mukha mo; maganda ang puso mo. You deserve the best. You deserve love.”

Chiu, who has been a subject to teasing remarks by her fellow hosts in the past weeks, lightly pushed the comedian, seemingly urging him to continue talking to the contestants.

After Vice Ganda turned his attention to the contestants again, Chiu laughed while having an inaudible conversation with Navarro, who was standing beside her.

Prior to this, Vice Ganda also teased Chiu to participate in the “Expecially for You” segment, which features former couples.

It can be noted that Chiu and her boyfriend, actor Xian Lim, has been hounded by breakup speculations. While the pair—who has been together since 2012—has yet to confirm or deny these rumors, comedian-showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz claimed that the couple parted ways two months ago.
