An Unforgettable Moment: Nadine Lustre Reflects on a Surprising Experience That Went Viral (cuon)

"I was very amazed. Personally, I'm a huge [fan]… I like your memes, I like your funny videos. So, it's fun to see myself in photos like that," said Nadine Luster when she was thrown back regarding her viral stolen shot while buying lechon sauce at a store in Siargao way back August 2021.

“I would not delete it. Hahaha!”

That’s the laughing statement of singer-actress Nadine Luster to the press people about her viral stolen shot where she can be seen buying lechon sauce at a grocery store in Siargao.

The talented Viva actress was asked about this during their grand media conference for their upcoming film, Deleter , Viva Films’ entry in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Based on the title of their movie, Nadine was asked if she would delete, if given the chance, that moment—as if it didn’t happen—that was caught on cam that has been circulated on the internet and made more different versions of the meme.

It can be remembered that Nadine’s stolen shot went viral at the market in Siargao way back August 2021 while she was buying lechon sauce.

Because it was made fun of online, he even tweeted: “[For you to stop thinking… lechon manok yung ulam.”

This meme was brought up again in their press conference because it still appears on social media from time to time.

According to him, he will not erase that incident from his memory and the memory of everyone because even he is comforted by the outcome of the incident.

“Personally, I was really…I think I was entertained when that photo came out,” lahad n’ya sa press people.

Another thing he is happy about is the fans’ effort in editing his stolen photo, so it became even more ridiculous. The netizens will jump on their respective entries.

” I really like people’s reactions , especially, those reactions … those who edited, photoshopped themselves in the photo,” she said.

Here are some of the funny tweets related to that:

In addition to that, somehow the market in Siargao has also become an attraction because the fans have purposely made it to take pictures there as well.

“ There were actually people who took photos there [ at the store ] when they were in Siargao . Someone else made a costume on Halloween. Haha! So no, I won’t delete it, ” he said with a laugh.

Nadine also admitted that she really likes memes and funny videos that have the power to create good vibes and she is happy that she had and was able to participate in these funny memes that were not forced and not on purpose.

“ I was very amazed. Personally, I’m a huge [fan]… I like your memes, I like your funny videos. So, it’s fun to see myself in photos like that, ” the actress said.

But even though he likes funny memes and videos, he’s also game for scares. In fact, their Deleter movie is the only horror film entry in this year’s MMFF.

Here Nadine will play Lyra who is an online content moderator. He is one of those in charge of filtering uploaded graphics on the social media platforms held by the company he works for.

However, his co-workers do not know that he has a dark secret that he tries to delete, which later on will affect his work and personal life.

Along with Nadine in this upcoming psychological tech horror movie are Jeffrey Hidalgo, McCoy de Leon, and Louise delos Reyes.

Deleter can be seen starting Christmas day, December 25, in cinemas nationwide.
