Hindi pa nakatatanggap ang Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) ng reklamo tungkol sa isyu ng pagpupog ng halik ni former Senate President Tito Sotto sa kanyang asawa na si Helen Gamboa sa National Dabarkads Day ng E.A.T. noong Sabado, July 29, 2023.
Ayon sa isang insider na nakausap ng Cabinet Files, bukod sa walang reklamo laban sa noontime program ng TV5, mag-asawa naman sina Tito at Helen.
Tiyak na ipagmamaktol ito ng ibang tagasuporta ng It’s Showtime na wala ring nakikitang malaswa sa pagkain ng cake icing nina Vice Ganda at Ion Perez sa “Isip Bata” segment ng July 25 episode ng noontime show na napapanood sa Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, at GTV.
Hindi ito maatim ng mga supporter nina Ion at Vice bilang nagkaroon din ng wedding ceremony ang dalawa sa Las Vegas noong October 2021 kaya namumuhay rin sila bilang mag-asawa.
Nagsanga-sanga na ang kontrobersiya dahil idinamay sa mga batikos si MTRCB Chairperson Lala Sotto-Antonio, na pinaratangan ng mga kampi kina Vice at Ion na hindi patas at may kinikilingan dahil ang mga magulang niya ang sangkot sa isyu.
Noong Lunes, July 31,2023, pinadalhan ng MTRCB ang mga producer ng It’s Showtime ng Notice to Appear and Testify dahil sa inirereklamong “indecent act/s” nina Vice at Ion sa “Isip Bata segment” ng noontime show na paglabag umano sa Section 3 ng Presidential Decree No.1986.
Pero iba ang paniniwala ng mga nakikisimpatiya sa It’s Showtime dahil iginigiit nilang may kinalaman ang usapin sa pagiging magkaribal na programa ng E.A.T. at ng It’s Showtime.
Sinasabi naman ng ilang insiders na marami nang natatanggap na sumbong ang MTRCB tungkol sa mga nakaraang eksena na ginagawa nina Vice at Ion sa kanilang noontime show.
