“Not the kind of homecoming we want but it is what it is”.

San Miguel Beermen superstar June Mar Fajardo finally came home in Cebu, but it was an emotional homecoming for him.

The six-time PBA MVP was in Manila with the team when his mommy Marites passed away on August 11.

Now, the self-proclaimed “mama’s boy” returns to his family to grieve and help each other recovery from the tragedy.

“We know you’re in a better place now, Mama. No more stress, pain and suffering just peace. I love you and miss you forever! ‘Til we meet again, Mama!,” he wrote on his Instagram post.
