Pia Wurtzbach is Piolo Pascual’s leading lady in the upcoming ABS-CBN sitcom, My Papa Pi, which will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Joining Pia and Piolo are Joross Gamboa, Pepe Herrera, Madam Inutz, and Anthony Jennings.
The cast of My Papa Pi was announced by producer Star Creatives yesterday, February 10, 2022.
The caption of Star Creatives read (published as is): “Avoid nega, the fun is here! Meet the squad that will snarl and chikka all of us! From Mapag-Asa Street, they are the hopefuls of My Papa Pi ! “
Prior to this announcement, ABS-CBN initially picked Angelica Panganiban as the leading lady.
The project would have been their reunion after working in the series Mangarap Ka (2004), Apoy sa Dagat (2013), and the movie Every Breath U Take (2012).
Star Creatives did not mention why Angelica was replaced by Pia.
ABS-CBN is set to premiere My Papa Pi in March 2022.
