Matatandaan na sa kanyang speech makaraang magwagi sa “Magpasikat 2024” talent contest sa nasabing noontime show, sinabi ni Kim Chiu na bago pa man manalasa ang bagyo ay napagdesisyunan na ng kanyang team na kinabibilangan nina Ogie Alcasid, MC Calaquian at Lassy Marquez na sa Angat Buhay mapupunta ang kanilang premyo sakaling sila ang mananalo.
“Thank you po! Gusto lang namin i-share na ‘yung mapapanalunan namin—hindi pa namin alam ‘yung nangyari sa [Bagyong Kristine]—pero ‘yung charity po talaga namin ay para sa Angat Buhay foundation,” pahayag ni Kim.
“Maraming-maraming salamat. Malaking tulong po ‘to sa lahat ng mga nasalanta,” dagdag ng actress-host.
