Simula pa lamang ay naging emosyonal na ang aktres at celebrity mom na si Valerie Concepcion sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda nang pag-usapan ang kaniyang anak na si Heather.
Sa panayam ni Valerie, tinanong siya ng batikang TV host na si Boy Abunda kung ano ang bagay na ihihingi niya ng tawad sa kaniyang anak. Dito na nag-umpisang mabalot ng emosyon si Valerie.
Ayon kay Valerie, gusto niyang humingi ng tawad sa kaniyang anak dahil hindi niya nabigay dito ang isang kumpletong pamilya.
Aniya, “Mag-so-sorry ako kasi she’s 18 now and may time na hinahanap niya ‘yung tatay niya, so siguro ang iso-sorry ko is ‘yung hindi ko nabigay sa kaniya ‘yung normal na family.”
Kuwento pa ni Valerie, pinilit niyang magpaka-ama rin para kay Heather upang hindi nito maramdaman na may kulang sa kanilang pamilya pero nasaktan pa rin siya nang hanapin ng kaniyang anak ang tunay nitong ama.
“I try so hard to be a mom and dad to her. Actually it pains me nung nalaman ko na hinahanap niya ‘yung tatay niya kasi parang feeling ko hindi ako enough, hindi ko nabigay ‘yung lahat para hanapin niya pa ‘yung tatay niya but now I understand,” umiiyak na sinabi ni Valerie.
Paglilinaw niya, naiintidihan naman niya ang naging aksyon ng anak, dahil alam niyang hindi naman mababawasan ang pagmamahal nito para sa kaniya.
“Of course, it doesn’t make her love me less just because she is looking for her father. She just really wants to know where she came from, her roots, and her story so now I understand that,” anang aktres.
Sa katunayan, nag-reach out din si Valerie sa tunay na ama ni Heather upang magkita na ang dalawa ngunit walang natanggap na sagot ang aktres.
“We tried reaching out, I tried telling him na, ‘Our daughter is ready to meet you,’ but I didn’t get a response sadly,” ani Valerie.
Samantala, napapanood ngayon si Valerie sa bagong serye na The Seed of Love kasama sina Mike Tan at Glaiza De Castro.
Para naman sa iba pang maiinit na showbiz balita, tumutok sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Lunes hanggang Biyernes, 4:45 p.m. pagkatapos ng The Seed of Love sa GMA Afternoon Prime via television broadcast sa GMA at sa iba pang digital platforms.
