This is why Vice Ganda became emotional in Its Showtime.
VICE GANDA – Its Showtime host Vice Ganda was not able to stop himself from becoming emotional while talking to Argus.
Its Showtime’s “Isip Bata” segment is loved by many viewers. This segment features kids and one of them is Argus. He was first admired for his impressive memorization skills and later on, was loved for being such a good kid.
Host Vice Ganda also loves him and through the noontime show, people got the chance to know his life story.
His father is a police who is based abroad and just previously, he was able to get home. He stayed for a while but this did not last long.
In a recent Its Showtime episode, something about Argus and his father made Vice become emotional. Argus’ father is bound to return and while making Argus feel better about his father being away from him again, Vice did not stop himself from crying.
Before going, he assured Argus in the show that they will support him in whatever he would want to. He also took that opportunity to thank the show for taking care of his son and the other kids.
“Nakikita ko kung papaano niyo alagaan, paano niyo mahalin ang mga bata on and off cam. Maraming salamat,” he said. Vice thanked them as well for the trust they are giving to the show and assured him that they will be with Argus as he waits for him to come home again.
Talking to Argus, he promised him that they will be with him along with his mommy.
His voice broke when he asked Argus if he knows that his Daddy is proud of him and loves him.
“Yun ang pinakamasarap malaman sa buong mundo. Bukod sa mga matutunan mo sa eskwelahan, ang pinakamasarap malaman sa mundo ay yung may magulang na nagmamahal sa’yo,” the comedian expressed in a shaky voice.
