Kapamilya star Kim Chiu shared an update about her upcoming movie with Paulo Avelino.
On her Instagram Stories, Kim posted snapshots of the meeting of the cast and the production crew.
“My Love Will Make You Disappear. Coming soon!” Kim wrote.
Other cast members of the movie include Wilma Doesnt, Lovely Abella, Karina Bautista, Martin Escudero, and Benj Manalo.
It was in August when it was announced that Kim and Paulo will be headlining their first movie together.
“Dahil nadala na namin kayo sa TV, sa tour, ngayon sasabihin na namin, may isang malaking regalo kami ni Paulo sa inyo kasama ang Star Cinema ang My Love Will Make You Disappear,” Kim announced in August in noontime program It’s Showtime.
Movie director Chad relayed that the project is a romantic-comedy movie. “Siyempre, na-miss natin ‘yung pelikulang rom-com mula sa Star Cinema. Pre-pandemic pa ata noong huling nagkaroon tayo ng true-blue rom-com from Star Cinema,” Chad said.
He went on: “Itong concept na ‘to [ay ginawa ni] Prime Cruz and to be written by Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio. Very interesting siya sa akin. Classic siya, classic rom-com, very bago.”
While the plot details remain under wraps, Chad shared his early impressions on the story, saying, “It’s very interesting to me. It’s a classic romcom, yet feels very fresh.”
