Kim Chiu shares emotional insight on moving on and acceptance on ‘It’s Showtime’
In an emotional moment on “It’s Showtime” this Valentine’s Day, Kim Chiu couldn’t hold back her tears as she delved into the pain of acceptance and the necessity of moving on. The revelation came during the “Expecially for You” segment, where a contestant named Fe shared her heart-wrenching story of reconciliation with her unfaithful husband, only to lose him to the pandemic years later.
Chiu, reflecting on the conversation, offered a poignant insight into the nature of life’s events. “Everything that happens in our lives isn’t by chance or accident. It’s all written already, even before we were born. Accepting everything as it is makes it easier,” she said through tears.
The actress, a “Pinoy Big Brother” alumna, emphasized that life’s predetermined events, like Fe’s story, serve to strengthen one’s character. “Everything that happens to each person, like Mommy Fe, didn’t happen by accident. It was meant to be, came back to her, and then was taken away again, and that made her strong,” Chiu asserted.
