MARIAN RIVERA AND DINGDONG DANTES – The Kapuso couple led “Rewind” and here are some of the deleted scenes from the movie.
Among the 10 official movies of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 is “Rewind” which was a mega blockbuster hit. This film broke many records and is now holding the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time title.
The director behind this phenomenal movie is Mae Cruz Alviar and a collaboration between Star Cinema, Dingdong’s film company Agosto Dos Pictures and APT Entertainment. “Rewind” has reportedly earned Php 889 million globally as of January 26, 2024.
Apart from the Philippines, this film was also shown in other countries such as United Arab Emirates, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Guam, and Saipan.
With the success of this film, some of the deleted scenes were uploaded on YouTube.
In the first clip, Mary helped John pack his things. The next clip showed that they were rushing to head to somewhere and shared three pecks on the lips. Another clip showed John’s first day at work and the next scenes that followed was John’s promotion at work.
The other clips in the video included Mary defending her husband’s temper, when John discovered Mary’s surprise for him on his failed promotion at work, when Austin, the son, made John apologize to Mary, and Hermie’s present to John which was a trip to Paris.
Meanwhile, “Rewind” is among the MMFF 2023 films on Netflix. “Rewind” was shown in the streaming app last March 25 and the other movies with the schedule are:

“Rewind” is a family drama that tells about the story of a devastated John after losing Mary in an accident. However, a rare chance to rewrite the story was given to John. He has received help from Lods but with every favor comes the painful consequence.
