Tensions between the two have been palpable since 2023 when Pia began attending fashion week events with Heart’s former glam team, sparking rumors of discord.
Heart’s fallout with her makeup artist and hairstylist, Justine Louise Soriano and Jeck Aguilar, in July 2023 raised eyebrows. The duo, who had previously accompanied Heart to fashion weeks, now work with Pia, further exacerbating the friction between the two.

Pia’s subsequent statement, “Irrelevant after the crown, I fought for my place to be so much more. Sayang ba yun?” appears to further fuel speculation regarding the underlying rivalry between the two.
