Tila naloka ang It’s Showtime host na si Jackie Gonzaga sa mga usap-usapan na kumakalat online tungkol sa balitang siya raw ay buntis at ang kanyang co-host na si Ion Perez daw ang tatay.
Sa kanyang TikTok livestream, nagulat ang “Ate Girl” sa mga tanong ng netizens na nais malaman ang katotohanan tungkol sa mga tsismis ng kanya raw pagbubuntis.
“Ano’ng isyu?” takang tanong ni Jackie.
Nang malaman niya ang konteksto ng kanilang umano’y isyu, natawa na lang si Jackie sabay bahagi nito sa kanyang mga kasama. Natawa na lang din ang kanyang mga kaibigan sa mga usap-usapan online.
“Si Kuya Ion? Ano’ng truth?! Kung ano-ano pinagi-isyu n’yo,” sabi ni Jackie.
Dagdag pa niya, “Adik ba kayo? Tigilan n’yo bisyo n’yo, ah. At saka ‘yung mga trolls din naman, ano-ano pinag… for the views kasi. Siguro kumikita sila doon so, wala doon sila kikita. Ganoon talaga, grind nila iyon. Issue nila iyon. Bahala sila doon.”
Sa huli, nagbigay na lang ng kanyang opinyon si Jackie sa mga taong naniniwala, “Kadiri mga issue n’yo. Kadiri mga tao naniniwala sa fake news!”.Binalaan niya rin ang mga tao na huwag makialam sa mga usap-usapan na basta-basta lang at huwag na magpakalat ng fake news sa social media.
Matatandaang may fans ang nagpapares kina Ion at Jackie dahil sa kanilang chemistry at kulitan kapag magkasama. Ngunit malinaw nilang ipinapakita na sila ay magkaibigan lamang at masaya sila sa kani-kanilang buhay. Si Ion ay masaya sa kanyang relasyon sa kanyang asawa na si Vice Ganda. Samantala, nasa healing process naman daw si Jackie matapos ang kanyang hiwalayan sa dating relasyon.
