Marian Rivera has demonstrated throughout her career that she is a reliable endorser.
Over the past year, the Kapuso network’s Primetime Queen has collaborated with numerous brands, and several have chosen to renew their partnerships this year.
On Friday, October 25, 2024, Marian was named once more by Home Credit Philippines as its endorser, a two-year contract after a successful year of collaboration.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Marian reiterated her gratitude towards the brands that continue to collaborate with her.
“Siyempre, lubos na nagpapasalamat ako diyan sa pagitiwala nila,” she told PEP during the lending company’s 11th anniversary celebration at TriNoMa in Quezon City.
Marian continued, “At the same time, siguro nagtutugma kasi yung mga vision namin sa mga ini-endorse ko na katulad na lang ng Home Credit na yung concern nila at dedication nila sa kapwa-Filipino kung paano ma-extend yung tulong nila.
“So para sa akin, mahalagang-mahalaga yun.”
MARIAN RIVERA ON ACCEPTING ENDORSEMENTS
PEP asked Marian what influences her decision to accept an endorsement.
It’s important that she has tried the brand herself.
She said, “Ang hirap na hindi mo sinusubukan.
So palaging rule ko iyan.”
Going further, Marian said she has been fortunate not to have the need for loans to buy gadgets, appliances, or other necessities.
After thoroughly researching Home Credit, she became convinced that it could provide valuable assistance to many individuals who are less fortunate.
In addition to familiarizing herself with the company or brand she endorses, Marian highlighted the significance of establishing mutual trust.
“So yung mga gusto nilang kunin or gusto nilang magkaroon sila, sa kanila man o extension man sa pamilya nila, siyempre gusto natin i-extend lahat ng pwede natin itulong.”
MARIAN RIVERA’s FINANCE TIP THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON
PEP then asked Marian for some money-handling tips, especially now when the Christmas season is fast approaching, that time of year marked by highest spending.
Marian’s top advice: buy only the essentials.
She told PEP.ph, “Minsan tayo as a tao, marami tayong gustong bilhin, at marami tayong nakikita.
“At yun ang maganda sa Home Credit, kasi very transparent sila in all the contracts.
Parang may isang contract na very transparent sila.”
Concluding, Marian said with her characteristic humor, “Medyo mabusisi ako, e, saka sigurista ako. Nanay e.
After nun, puwede na.”
