Actor-director Xian Lim confirmed his relationship with VIVA Films producer Iris Lee!
During his exclusive interview with Esquire on Thursday, Lim did not hesitate to say that he and Lee are dating.
“Yes, I’m seeing Iris. Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations. We are seeing each other, and we are very happy,” Lim said.
According to Lim, he is ready to speak to clarify the speculations about his controversial breakup with Kapamilya actress-host Kim Chiu.
MANILA, Philippines: Nearly five months after confirming his breakup with Kim Chiu, actor-director Xian Lim admitted that he was in a relationship with film producer Iris Lee and that “we are very happy.”.
Lim confirmed this in an exclusive interview with Esquire magazine, released on Thursday, May 2.
It can be recalled that on December 23, 2023, the two confirmed that their 12-year relationship was over. They also shared thanks and sweet messages using their social media accounts.
Lim clarified that the allegations that Lee, his current producer and creative partner, is a “third party” are false.
He said they only started dating after his relationship with Chiu. He also strongly denied the rumors that they are secretly married and were living together.
“There’s no third party. That’s it. That’s plain and simple,” said Lim. “Another rumor: when I see my friends—the people who are the last to even care about these things—kino-congratulate na ko. They say, ‘Congratulations on the marriage in New York!’ And I’m like, no, I am not married.”
He said the only people in Lim’s house were his family, so he called the accusations “absurd.”.
“It just pains me na parang may mga taong nadamay. That just really saddens me, and that’s very unfortunate,” Lim said.
“Ang busy-busy ni Iris, ang busy-busy ko. She has a lot on her plate, and I have a lot on my plate… She doesn’t deserve all that flak. We don’t deserve that because all the things people are saying, there’s no truth to any of them,” he added.
Netizens have been talking about the possible relationship between the two after seeing them together on several occasions.
Last February, their seemingly sweet pose in a photo uploaded by Watanabe Riding Development became a hot topic. In that photo, Lim is arm in arm with Lee, while the female producer is holding the young actor’s hand.
