In a recent interview, famed adult content creator Salome Salvi pulled back the curtains on adult content creation, opening the discussion on the female gaze and pleasure.

“I don’t see myself leaving anytime soon,” she told Toni Gonzaga when asked about how long she sees herself in the industry. Salome opened up that she started content creation through an alter account on Twitter (now X), and eventually directed her followers to her OnlyFans account. Eventually, she joined porn site Pornhub, creating more adult content and monetizing them.

She says that she *loves* what she does, since it enables her to apply her learnings from her college degree and childhood interests. “Indefinitely, kasi it’s something that is really, really close to my heart. It’s something that I really enjoy doing. And, you know, grumaduate ako ng Fine Arts and kasi may background talaga ako in art, e. Even as a kid, I’ve always been creative. I’ve always been into visual art, so yung love ko for visual art and yung parang creative hunger na nafi-feel ko, parang napupunan yan ng porn and making porn and making content, being on social media, like all of that, like really scratches my creative itch,” she said.

Asked about her feelings whenever she watches her own work, Salome offered a confident response.

“Ako, personally, yun nga, masaya ako sa ginagawa ko e. And, alam ko within myself na I have a lot of skills. I can do so many things, but I think sex is what I am best at. Kasi I’m really in tune with my body. Malakas yung empathy ko. So, I connect really well with my sexual partners and parang I have that kind of relationship with sex work, and I don’t see myself leaving it anytime soon because it’s something that gives me a lot of joy,” she concluded.
