MANILA – Vice Ganda, Sarah Geronimo, and Donny Pangilinan are among local celebrities who are using their platforms to encourage Filipinos to help victims of Typhoon Carina.

Vice Ganda on X, the former Twitter, regularly shared to his 15.5 million followers ABS-CBN News’ reports on the typhoon and information on emergency hotlines. The “It’s Showtime” host also reposted information on volunteer-led relief operations.

Geronimo meanwhile marked her birthday on Friday by sharing praises for rescue teams and prayers for those affected by heavy rains.

Pangilinan also turned to Instagram to share information on relief operations to his 4 million followers.

Actor Gerald Anderson, Dingdong Dantes, Aiko Melendez and celebrity reservists also participated in rescue and relief operations and raising funds for the victims of typhoon.

Anderson, a Philippine Army reservist, was seen helping volunteers rescue some residents who were stranded by floods. It was not the first time that he helped victims during a typhoon.

Beauty queen Michelle Dee shared tips and contact information about relief operations for typhoon victims. Dee also boosted the relief operations of the Philippine Red Cross as its ambassador.

“Pamilya Sagrado” star Aiko Melendez joined distribution of goods in Quezon City.

HEART EVANGELISTA

As the head of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Heart Evangelista spearheaded the packing and distribution of goods in Marikina.

RONNIE LIANG

Singer-actor Ronnie Liang and his team rescued flood victims in Quezon City. Liang is a Philippine Army reservist.

MELAI CANTIVEROS AND DIMPLES ROMANA

Melai Cantiveros  and Dimples Romana showed their concern, offered prayers and encouraged fans and followers to help those who are affected by the relentless rain.
