Marian Rivera emerged victorious at the 20th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival after she was named as one of the Best Actress awardees for her stellar performance as Teacher Emmy in Balota.

The Kapuso Primetime Queen shared the said award with actress Gabby Padilla for the film Kono Basho.

Marian expressed her utmost gratitude to Cinemalaya, GMA Network, and the entire team of Balota during her acceptance speech.

To my GMA family, thank you.
