HOW ANGEL REESE FAKES INJURY AND QUITS ON SKY CAUSE SHE KNOWS ROTY RACE IS OVER!!! (an)

Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese announced she will be retiring from her rookie season.

Why did Angel Reese end his WNBA career before the season ended?

Despite what Caitlin Clark fans think, Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese actually had a great

first season in the WNBA. She was definitely the second rookie of the

entire league this season. But unfortunately, Angel Reese has ended

her participation in the current season that is still ongoing. The reason for this was

unexpected and it left all of her fans heartbroken. The player herself was

a person who announced to all of her followers on social media and she

promised to be back next season with a bang for Year 2. But let’s find out

exactly what happened to Angel Reese that made her quit before the season ended

Reese wrote. “What a year. I never could have imagined my last barrel

of my rookie season would be a 3 but maybe that was God saying give them a taste

of what they’ll see more of in Year 2. Throughout it all, I’ve shown that I

belong in this league even when no one else believed. All I ever wanted was

to get to W and make an impact. I can confidently say I did that and

will try to continue to do so. I’m overwhelmed with emotion right now as I have an injury-

ending season, but also filled with gratitude for what’s to come. Even though this

was God’s timing and not mine, I can finally give myself a physical and mental

break. You’ll still find me cheering the loudest on the sidelines! And

Unparalleled League, see you soon!”

Unfortunately, Angel Reese suffered a wrist injury in her most recent game in the Chicago Sky’s game six against the Los Angeles Sparks. Reese will be out for the remainder of the current season after being evaluated at the end of the game. In the race for Rookie of the Year, Reese led early in the season until Caitlin Clark took the lead in the second half. However, Angel Reese has established herself as the rebounding queen despite being a rookie. Year 2 will be a great year for her, especially with the hunger for success that she has.

The Truth About Angel Reese’s Injury

Many suspected Reese’s injury could be serious if the Sky cut her from the team with just six games left in the season and the team battling for the eighth and final WNBA playoff spot.

However, there is still a segment of fans who believe that banning Reese for the rest of the season is part of a larger conspiracy theory aimed at denying Sky a better pick, and they have not hesitated to share their suspicions of cheating on social media.

“Sky are trying their best to support Paige (Bueckers)?” one fan tweeted.

“That podcast must have brought in some money. She’s out! OR Sky are ready to really drop the price to get a lottery pick. [I’d] go for the latter,” another commented.

“The Chicago Sky just got bailed out and now they have an excuse to ruin the rest of the season. With or without Reese, they’ll still get swept in the playoffs and lose the draft lottery,” a third commented.

“In my opinion, Sky management banned Angel for the entire season as an excuse for her decline. Angel can’t ban herself. I’m not saying she faked an injury. I mean Sky ran with it,” another user reasoned.

“She had her best game of the year, the team is down and wants to lose the rest of the games. I understand why the conspiracy theory lol AR can’t gain anything by playing one more minute this season. There’s no prize in sight so just do your best and help your team down too,” another fan said.

Chicago has lost eight of its 10 games since the Olympic break, and if it secures the eighth seed in the playoffs, its chances of getting past the top-seeded New York Liberty are slim.

So it would make sense for the team to at least consider packing the roster and trying to land another Reese-type player in the 2025 draft, which includes UConn’s Paige Bueckers, LSU’s Aneesah Morrow and USC’s Kiki Iriafen at the top.
