Vice Ganda, Teachers Slammed for Statement on Class Recitation!
Kapamilya comedian and TV host Vice Ganda has received backlash from teachers for his statement on class recitation.

The It’s Showtime host became the subject of online discussions following his appearance on the show as “YourMeme” in a segment.

The comedian gave his perspective on teachers’ practice in the classroom.

If elected, “YorMeme” said he would stop teachers from calling out students who do not raise their hands during recitation.

He pointed out that teachers should provide solutions, or if students do not know the answer, they should stop asking.

He even stated that students who do not know the answer to a recitation may suffer mental damage due to being humiliated.

 

Teachers immediately calmed down after Vice Ganda’s statement. Because they supposedly have different teaching approaches to teach their students.

This is also a teaching technique for the teacher to know if the student has learned anything from what the teacher taught.

Another teacher wrote an open letter to Vice Ganda in which he stated that Vice Ganda has no right to interfere in the work of their teachers.

He also pointed out that before giving a statement, he should do some research first.
