Actress Rufa Mae Quinto is moving forward after her husband, Trevor Magallanes, confirmed that their divorce is “in process.”

In a recent social media post, Rufa Mae shared inspiring lyrics from American singer Brandy’s song “Starting Now.”

The post included the following lyrics:

Rufa Mae ended her caption with the phrase: “Go go gold 🥰.”

Though Rufa Mae did not directly address the divorce, she has been sharing uplifting posts since Trevor revealed their marital issues on December 13.

As per reports, Trevor posted on his Instagram to clarify that they are in the process of divorcing.

“Hey guys, I felt like I need to explain myself based on social media and all that. I want to make myself clear that Rufa Mae and I are in the process of a divorce,” he said.

He also expressed regret about the situation, acknowledging how difficult divorce can be for both parents and children.

“You may be aware divorce can be very devastating to the children and also the parents. That being said, my marriage has been a sh*t show and I am sorry for that,” he added.

Trevor emphasized that his focus now is on spending time with their daughter, Athena.

“All that matters to me at this time is getting through the divorce as best as I can and spending time with Athena. Happy holidays!” he expressed.

Following this, Rufa Mae posted a few photos with a caption: “Kaya pa 🎄🫶🏻🎁.”

She also posted a photo in blue hair, saying: “What the sigma? Yes! Go go goals 🩷.”

On Monday, Rufa Mae just posted a simple holiday wishes, saying: “Ooh lalala lalala.. this holidays! Time for Happy holiday season 🎄the most wonderful time of the year, let’s sing ! 🎤 missing it! Go go go!.”

Her followers and celebrity friends quickly showed support in the comments.

“Kayang kaya friend!! Miss u!” actor Jerald Napoles said.

As of now, Rufa Mae has not released an official statement addressing the reports.

In a past interview in October, Rufa Mae had shared that she and her husband were on good terms despite being apart due to work commitments.

“Okay naman kami.” she said. “Okay kami. Oo, ever since naman ganu’n eh. Tsaka ayun nga, pabalik balik.”

Trevor is currently based in California while Rufa is with Athena in the Philippines. The actress also revealed that they had planned to reunite in November.

“Susunod ata (siya) sa November pero parang gusto nga na naman naming umuwi ulit kasi nga parang medyo matagal tagal – mga 2 months na kami nandito, basta 2-3 months. So, parang bahala na. Kasi ‘yung anak ko gusto niya talaga du’n eh. Du’n talaga eh kasi sanay siya du’n,” she added.
