On Instagram, Ryan shared how it all happened. What was a birthday celebration for Paola’s brother, Paolo Huyong, also turned into an engagement party. Ryan popped the question in front of everyone at Siesta Horchata Café—Paola’s business!
The Mexican-themed café sparked cute touches at the proposal like Ryan’s top and Paola’s fun dress. The couple also shared how stickers and lockets marked the joyous occasion. We love Paola’s ~quirky~ manicure, *nailing* that first photo of the ring!
Ryan also gave Paola a rose bouquet with the sweetest note. “Mi Amor, Thank you saying ‘YES’ Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you From your soon to be Husband”
DJ Adrian Legarda provided the tunes for all the dancing due on that special night.
Ryan And Paola Before Together Forever
The past two weeks have seen Ryan share his adventures with Paola in Korea through his YouTube vlogs. The video series shows Ryan having fun with Paola’s family on vacation. The trip also paved the way for Paola’s family to meet Ryan’s parents.
“Araw-araw kong pinag-p-pray kay God na sana dumating ulit yung araw na magkasama ulit kami kahit sa isang dinner lang at ngayon answered prayer talaga na nagkasama kami ulit at ang pamilya ni @paohuyong. Wala talagang imposible kay Lord,” wrote Ryan on Instagram about the dinner gathering. Ryan’s parents separated in 2005.
Ryan introduced his girlfriend officially to the public eye in February 2024. The two met through their love of playing soccer.
