Jasmine Curtis-Smith has a new movie with John Lloyd Cruz

Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith shared her experience working with A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz in the movieย Moneyslapper.

Jasmine was able to establish her name in the entertainment industry, away from the shadow of her big sister Kapamilya actress-host Anne Curtis. With the projects that she did, her acting caliber is always being highlighted.

Another milestone in her career came just recently. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, the actress talked about her movie with John Lloyd which is included in the QCinema International Film Festival.

This is the second time that Jasmine Curtis-Smithโ€™s movie is included in the said film festival. The first one was in 2020, the movieย Midnight In A Perfect Worldย with Dolly de Leon and Glaiza de Castro.

Jasmine shared that this time is different because back in 2020, it was just online since it was amid the pandemic but now, the film festival is done face-to-face and this made her excited.

โ€œVery happy! Tuwing nagiging parte ng film festival, parang feeling ko isa siyang malaking party for filmmakers. Kasi bukod sa nagtatrabaho, naglalaro din. Youโ€™re able to explore more and see different risk-takers, e, sa pelikula,โ€ the actress shared.

Jasmine shared that it is her first time working with John Lloyd in a movie but they have worked together for a TV project. She said that it was definitely challenging for her to work with A-list stars like John Lloyd.

With this, she said that she simply feels grateful to be paired with artists that could teach her more regarding her craft.
