Heart Evangelista has reacted to comments criticizing the trending photo of her dog Panda wearing a multi-million priced necklace from a luxury jewelry brand.
The fashion icon and socialite recently posted a photo of her aspin dog, Panda, sporting a Serpenti necklace from Bulgari which costs more than P10 million.
“Heiress @pandaongpaucoescudero (crown emoji),” Heart wrote as the caption on Instagram.
The said post has earned mixed reactions from netizens, with some criticizing Heart for letting her dog wear the jewelry.
In an Instagram live, Heart spoke up on the criticisms, saying she doesn’t understand why people are making a fuss out of her dog wearing the statement piece.
“I own the necklace you know, I can do whatever I want then pull it out. Basically, Panda owns the necklace, so hindi siya loan, she can do whatever she wants with it,” said Heart.

She added, “Panda is my most spoiled baby girl, so I don’t understand why people are making it such a [big deal] that I put diamonds on her.”
“These aspins are rescue dogs, they deserve the world. I like to elevate their look, and why not? Siya naman ang totoong tagapagmana. Minana niya ‘yun so she can do whatever she wants, so I don’t understand what the deal is,” she continued.
