Kris Aquino defends sons from online rumors against them: “Leave my children alone.”

Kris Aquino is not having it with bashers of her son, Josh and Bimby. The bashers have spread rumors of Josh allegedly impregnating someone and Bimby being gay.

On Sunday, March 7, Kris Aquino took to Instagram to sound off on bashers who spread rumors about her sons, Josh and Bimby, over the past week.

“I am not blind, and I am not stupid… in a span of a week my children have been used to trigger me,” the actress-host said.

The rumors include Josh allegedly getting a girl pregnant and Bimby being pegged as gay as insisted by bashers who based their assumptions after watching a video of him taken during dinner with his mom and fashion designer Michael Leyva last March 4.

Some people commented that he had simply adopted Kris’ mannerisms, as she had been raising him on her own. However, there were netizens that jumped to conclusions regarding his sexuality, with others making belittling remarks.

“Regarding Kuya Josh, name us and show us the girl. About Bimb, he is 13 years old, [I] know my son doesn’t identify as being gay BUT in the event he ever does, he will still be my son.” she continued. “The bullying you are doing is a reflection of your homophobic attitudes that are no longer welcome in 2021.”

Kris added that these attacks made towards her sons are a clear indication that there are people who could not help seeing her standing up despite them making comments to bury her.

“And they must be cringing that at a time when our country is hungry and struggling, as a private citizen, I am doing my part with my hard-earned money, to share with those in need,” she said.

Kris further said that the bashers chose the wrong children to make comments to, stating that she knows their motives.

“What does a lioness when her cubs are threatened? She attacks. Google and see what else she is capable of. This isn’t a threat. I am merely stating a fact,” she went on.

Kris concluded by telling the bashers to leave her children alone.

“Continue messing with them then you are pushing me in the direction you are so obviously afraid [I] will take. That yellow brick road is starting to look very inviting now,” she ended.

When it comes to homophobia, Bimby is no stranger. At the age of 10, he appeared in Kris’ vlog in 2017, addressing some people who think he is a homosexual.

When Kris said, “Don’t be homophobic, right?” Bimby agreed and said, “Why would you judge a child?”

Bimby is Kris’ son to PBA player James Yap while 25-year-old Josh is her son with actor Philip Salvador.
