Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon are still in the honeymoon stage of their marriage. While their married life has only just begun, it seems like the Internet is excited to see them become parents of their own. But Carlo immediately shut down questions about Charlie’s supposed pregnancy.

The 39-year-old actor dismissed speculations and asked the public to not put pressure on them to build a family. In a conversation with PEP.ph, Carlo coolly denied questions about his wife’s pregnancy, “Hindi,” he said with a laugh. “Huwag tayong advanced. Nakaka-pressure. Relax lang tayo.”

It seems that the couple is taking it slowly when it comes to adapting to the changes of married life. Aside from having a child, another change would be his decision-making when it comes to work. Carlo mentioned that Charlie is definitely involved in how he decides on his next projects as his wife. Plus, he’s now setting up some boundaries for his career. “Kailangan talaga pag-uusapan muna namin kasi she’s part of my life now,” he said.

However, this is not something that will hinder Carlo from achieving more as an actor. He added, “Pero hindi pa rin naman ako mag-no-no sa trabaho. I just have to set boundaries and limitations with work.”

And just recently this week, Charlie uploaded her dreamy photos taken by her favorite photographer—Carlo, obviously—during their trip to Taiwan. The two explored famous tourist destinations like the Yin Yang Sea and Golden Waterfall, as Charlie disclosed in her caption. The two also enjoyed Taiwanese desserts.

Charlie and Carlo got married on June 9, 2024, a day after Charlie won Best Actress at the 47th Gawad Urian Awards for her role in Third World Romance, which she top-billed along with Carlo too.

Carlo and Charlie shocked the Internet with their *secret garden wedding* done at a private resort in Silang, Cavite. It was first reported by the news agency of their home network, ABS-CBN News. Though there were many speculations, the public did not even know the two were engaged.
