Tyang Amy Perez celebrated her birthday in It’s Showtime and Vice Ganda and her other fellow hosts have these messages for her.

“It’s Showtime” mainstay Amy Perez turned a year older on September 5. And for Saturday, September 9, she opened the ABS-CBN noontime program with a lively performance. Her sons were also present.

And as they gathered together after her performance, just like what they always do, the hosts expressed sweet messages for the birthday celebrant.

The first to give her message was Karylle who said her message in a voice that was breaking because of too much emotion. She expressed how much she loves Tyang Amy and she appreciates how she is standing as someone who can balance them.

Most of them attest to how caring Tyang Amy is. She is never the type who is selfish of her knowledge when it comes to certain matters. She always has something useful and helpful to share with each of them like how to take care of themselves, what to do when something happens, and how to handle themselves while on stage.

As for Vice Ganda, the last one to express a message, he shared that they have actually been friends for a long time. Their friendship developed when he was just starting in the industry and she was among the personalities who did not judge him by his showbiz status.

“Sa lahat ng Showtime hosts, masasabi kong si Tyang ang unang-una kong pinakauna kong naging kaibigan bago pa so Vhong, bago pa si Anne. Kasi magkasama pa lang tayo sa taas noong mga hurado pa lang tayo, kinaibigan mo na ako,” he said based on the video.

Meanwhile, It’s Showtime is currently facing suspension issues. The network will file a motion for reconsideration as they believe no law has been violated. On the other hand, the MTRCB noted that Showtime’s violations included the alleged indecent acts of Vice and Ion Perez.

Other cases were the utterances of Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario of words like “Tinggil” and “G Spot”, respectively.
