Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose revealed that Primetime Queen Marian Rivera inspired her to be a calendar girl.

Julie Anne has come a long way since she started her career in showbiz through Pop Star Kids. Aside from being a singer, she also showcased her acting skills through series and movies. Julie Anne also ventured into hosting.

Currently, she is the host of The Clash with her boyfriend Rayver Cruz. The singer-actress is also one of the coaches in the current season The Voice Kids.

Just recently, Julie Anne San Jose surprised many showbiz enthusiasts. It is because after she was launched as the 2025 Calendar Girl of Ginebra. In her social media post about this, she said that she is thrilled for this showbiz endeavor and she felt honored to be given this kind of chance.

In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Julie Anne was asked who inspired her to do this project. “Lalayo pa ba ako? Siyempre, kay Ate Marian,” she said about Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.

The singer-actress also mentioned that it was inspiring that Marian became a calendar girl twice and seeing the latter’s layouts and pictures from the calendar shoot really made her feel inspired.

“So talagang through the years walang nagbago. I mean, she’s still Marian Rivera. You know, I’ve always loved her, talagang I’ve always looked up to her talaga ever since noong nag-start siya,” Julie Anne shared.

The singer-actress also said that she feels proud of the Primetime Queen because of her movie Balota which gave inspiration to a lot of people, especially the students and teachers. “Talagang nakaka-proud,” the Asia’s Limitless Star said.

Julie Anne San Jose also said through being a calendar girl, she wants to reach out to the public. She is looking forward to going to different places in the Philippines to spend time with the Ka-Barangays and celebrate with them.
