Deniece Cornejo Posts Cryptic Hashtag on the Teaser for the Return of Vhong Navarro to Showtime

VHONG NAVARRO – Model Deniece Cornejo threw shade at the teaser of the return of the actor-TV host to “It’s Showtime” amid his temporary release.

One of the mainstay hosts of It’s Showtime, the noontime variety show of ABS-CBN which continued even after its franchise renewal was denied, is actor-TV host Vhong Navarro. However, recently, he was absent from the show for around four (4) months.

In September 2023, Vhong surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation due to the legal battle between him and model Deniece Cornejo. The issues surround the 2014 incident involving the two (2) celebrities. A warrant of arrest was released by the Court against the Showtime host.

Vhong was detained at the NBI Facility for around two (2) months. He was transferred to Taguig City Jail in the 3rd week of November. Before Christmas, Taguig Court released an order allowing the actor-TV host to post bail at P1 million for his temporary liberty.

The camp of Vhong posted bail. He was able to spend time with his family most especially during the holiday season.

Last week, Vice Ganda hinted at the return of Vhong Navarro to Showtime. It sparked the excitement of madlang people. On Facebook, a teaser of the return of the actor-TV host was posted. To this, Deniece Cornejo had a cryptic reaction in the form of a hashtag.

“rhymeswithWRONG,” Deniece wrote on the teaser of Vhong’s return to Showtime.

The camp of Deniece filed an appeal to reverse the Court’s decision over his bail and to release a new warrant of arrest against the actor-TV host. The Court recently denied the appeal of Deniece Cornejo against Vhong Navarro.
