In a new vlog, Vice Ganda says that joke was his bad definition.

Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda recalls the bad joke he made a decade ago which he says will always be used against him.

In 2013, Vice Ganda publicly apologized to Jessica Soho regarding a controversial joke he made about her. He apologized to the award-winning Kapuso reporter in It’s Showtime owning up to his mistake that offended her. It also angered a lot of people and in a response, the broadcaster firmly stressed that matters like that terrible crime must never become a joke material.

Netizens found the joke “offensive” and tasteless.

He understood the insult the veteran broadcaster felt with the joke. He tried to reach out to her and not make the apology public but he caught her in a bad mood, hence, the public apology.

“Sinasadya mo man o hindi mo sinasadya, sabi ng magulang ko humingi ka ng tawad at paumanhin,” Vice said on Showtime. All of these happened a decade ago already and recalling this incident in his career, the joke will forever marked him as the one who did it to the multi-awarded broadcaster.

“Yun lang ang depinisyon ko sa mga taong ayaw sa akin, at habang buhay na nilang bibitbitin iyon para maging rason para magalit sila sa akin habambuhay.”

He said this in a YouTube vlog uploaded on May 6.

Back then, Soho accepted the apology from the comedian but refused to talk to him. Last year, it was even rumored that she declined to have Vice as guest in her KMJS show and it was alleged that this is due to the past controversy.

To recall, Vice said this during his concert, “Ang hirap nga lang kung si Jessica Soho magbo-b*ld. Kailangan g-ng r-p- lagi. Sasabihin ng r-p-st, ‘Ipasa ang lechon.’ Sasabihin naman ni Jessica, ‘Eh, nasaan yung apple?’”
